Should religion be re-introduced in schools?

I believe religion should be reintroduced in schools, however it may not be of benefit to everyone. It may help some students if religion was reintroduced in schools. The comfort of religion releases the tensions of a believer of the religion, but it may offend other students of different religions. This would cause a greater tension and violence would soon ensue. There would be the problem of teachers favoring a religion over another, and that would lead up to some court cases between teachers and students. It would more than likely be a mistake to reintroduce now, due to a lack of religion for so long.
