My probation isn't being transferred?

I'm a little confused about this but I didn't want to question my PO. I'm moving to another county and I'm on probation. My PO gave me the ok to move but he isn't transferring my probation to the other county. Since I'm on a non reporting probation, my PO said to just send him a postcard every month. Am I officially still on probation or not? I'm very confused.
