Will Captain Kirk go to heaven or hell?

As I understand it, when a being goes through the transporter their bodies break apart all the way down to the level of single atoms. Now, these atoms are not sent anywhere, they are translated into a code that the transporters computer systems will understand and be able to translate back into the equivalent atoms in the proper places. So you are taken apart and other atoms are put together in your form. A copy of you, a clone. If we have a spirit or a soul connected to our bodies in any way, it would stay with the original atoms. I would consider being taken apart atoms separated death. The fact that one would voluntarily use this mode of transportation, this would be suicide. Suicide is unforgivable, or no?
