Why hasn't Obama or the United Nations condemned Libya and Bahrain in the U.S. media?

for the violence and killings by these governments. I have not seen or heard Pres. Obama speak about either of these countries tactics against their people. Why hasnt the United Nations taken any action to help Libyans or Bahrainians?
