People should study the Catholic and Orthodox faiths, instead of spouting centuries old propaganda!?

I am a convert to Roman Catholicism. I LOVE my faith and church! I was not raised anti-Catholic; thank God, so I don't comprehend the venomous hatred. I am hurt and extremely angry that people repeat rhetoric from discredited sources like "Jack Chick" pamphlets or Loraine Boettner. It is ignorant and reflects badly on their denominations. Many of these same denominations do not require philosophy in seminary or believe in science; why should I be surprised! It really upsets me!
