I was 16. He said he would kill himself if I broke up with him and would use pills to do it. I broke up with him anyway. I can be a reasonable woman but I'm not into blackmail. Thinking about it, that may be why I have never really had a boyfriend that I spent time going to the movies and dinner with. I dated my husband after 15 years of not being committed to anyone and I felt it was time to marry.
